Cambridge International A Level Physics qualifications are accepted by universities and employers as proof of essential knowledge and ability.
This syllabus is designed:
- to give a thorough introduction to the study of Physics and scientific methods
- to develop skills and abilities that are relevant to the safe practice of science and to everyday life:
concern for accuracy and precision, objectivity, integrity, the skills of enquiry, initiative and inventiveness - to emphasise the understanding and application of scientific concepts and principles, rather than the recall of factual material
- to enable candidates to become confident citizens in a technological world and to take an informed interest in matters of scientific importance
- to promote the use of IT as an aid to experiments and as a tool for the interpretation of experimental and theoretical results.
The solutions are for questions no 1 to 8 of the Alevel Paper 4 Physics code 9702.
We have not uploaded the remainder questions number 9 onwards as it is still in progress.
“The applications of physics solutions are still in progress ie. questions on communications, use of band theory, x-rays, sensing devices, electronics, use of ultra sound in diagnosis and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging’We will upload the remainder exam solutions numbered 9 to 11 in the second half of this year.
